Werk Creative is a design studio.

Werk Creative began as a way for me to take my creative work and put all in one place and let the world take a look. I am a Freelancer, and a Design Consultant. I build web sites for any need. I have been designing web sites now for three years. I don't just design web sites, I also design print materials as well as marketing and advertising for any business no matter their focus and range. I am good at what I do and enjoy it. If you are interested in seeing some of the work I have done in the past, check out my portfolio. Not all of the work I have done is in my portfolio, but it will give you an idea of what I can do for you.

How I started

I am a Veteran of the US Army, and really got my start while serving as a Cavalry Scout at Fort Carson, Colorado. I began by getting into a bit of trouble. When my superiors learned that I was an artist, instead of traditional punishment by way of cleaning toilets with toothbrushes, the opted for a more appropriate way of teaching me a lesson. So I was tasked with painting a large mural for our Troop Headquarters. When higher ranking officers learned of the mural they came to look at my work. Soon, I was transferred to the headquarters department and was given the title Training NCO. My duties included designing training schedules, PowerPoint presentations and layouts for Squadron inspection. After completing my contract for the US Army, I went to Westwood College in Denver, Colorado; and began learning Digital Illustration and Computer Animation. I relocated to Northern California and continued my education at ITT Tech, in Rancho Cordova. I have worked for many companies in Northern California, such as Zen Graphics in Stockton, and The Pennysaver in Sacramento. I have enjoyed the freedom of designing on a freelance basis. It has given me the opportunity to learn a lot over the last few years. I now reside in beautiful Lodi, California and continue to provide excellent design to both small business and major corporations.
